Ferdinand Quatrone was a Master Sargeant of department A421, Company D, 5th Special Forces Group Abn.
He served in Vietnam in Ba Chuc and was killed on
November 1, 1967 while administering first aid to a wounded man and carrying the communications radio to safety
during an enemy mortar attack.
He received a Silver Star post-mortem.

Ferdinand Quatrone was my uncle and my dad William's brother.
My dad is in his 80s now and he would enjoy hearing from anyone who was in
Uncle Freddy's company or knew my Uncle Freddy.
