If you worked w/SF: i was a crew chief for the 173 ahc. we were stationed out of danang. we flew missions with sf.if i remenber correctely on every mission we went on i was either the first or second bird to insert or extract.sf camp was at marble mountain and most of the missions we flew were accross the red line. these guys gave me parts for my m 60 when i couldnt get them anywhere else.i learned to love these guys because they told me from the first mission that if i did exactly as they said i would be able to drink a beer with them later. and every mission that they called for a extraction was executed exactly as they said it would go. i didnt matter if i was taking heavy fire or no fire when i did as they said we all made it back. i think about where all of those guys are now. i saw one at ft lewis going to train rotc guys. he said from there he was to south america. god bless you all
