Detachment A-233

A-233, commanded by Capt Kincheloe, was located at Dong Tre, Fhu Yen province, II CTZ, from 16 October 1964- 12 April 1965. The Detachment's mission was to advise, equip, and train CIDG companies, and conduct combat operations in its assigned area. The Detachment also initiated a civic action program which included building a library for the civilian population located in the area.**
